Inflect Health is Looking Forward to the Y Combinator Winter 2021 Demo Day
Inflect has previously invested in several Y Combinator classes
At Inflect Health, we look for health-focused startups who are going to change the world.
Inflect Health is not your typical accelerator. As a new nationwide, multispecialty innovation and investment hub grown from Vituity, we represent a single point of contact, a catalyst for better care, to partner portfolio companies with the best providers and healthcare experts in the country.
That means access — to a network of 3,000 physicians, 2,000 advanced providers, 1,500 scribes, and over 300 hospitals, with frontline providers in some of the nation’s most acute care settings. We capitalize on our frontline care delivery experience, wide distribution channels, and access to small- to medium-sized enterprises across the entire healthcare space, to address local, community-based healthcare problems without the bureaucracy concerns that impede establishment healthcare organizations. Inflect Health offers financial support too, and we’re willing to collaborate and partner with just about anyone in order to innovate and deliver care for patients.
Now, when it comes to the venture capital and investment community there is perhaps no startup accelerator as well recognized as Y Combinator. Founded in 2005, Y Combinator has for years provided a platform for seed-stage startups to attract the attention of investors and secure funding for new and exciting innovations. To date Y Combinator has been used to launch over 2,000 companies and while it’s not a healthcare-focused accelerator there’s no dearth of healthtech companies that participate. Some of our very own portfolio companies, including Biocogniv, Gen1E Lifesciences and Siphox emerged through its programming.
One component to Y Combinator’s success has been its popular, invite-only Demo Day events, which attract thousands of investors and media on dedicated days twice a year, typically at the end of March and the end of August. The goal? For founders to present their companies to a room full of specially selected investors and press, receive critical feedback, exchange ideas and vie for the eyes of investors. Founders are given approximately one minute to pitch their company, with breaks provided throughout the day reserved for network opportunities.
Which brings us to the topic at hand — this year’s Winter 2021 Demo Day is right around the corner, to be held online on Tuesday, March 23rd, 2021 from 9AM-5:30PM PT. Inflect Health will once again be in attendance for the Winter 2021 Demo Day and we can’t wait to see what companies turn up ready to make their mark on the healthcare industry.
